We are absolutely thrilled that our new Kelling Collection has been selected as a finalist in the innovation category of the annual Tableware International Awards.
A prestigious panel of expert judges reviewed hundreds of entries over 15 categories to choose the finalists in several specialist categories.
The Innovation Award is given to innovative tableware from across all categories (glassware, crockery, cutlery etc.) that demonstrates something new.
The Kelling Collection's contrast colour banding, inspired by fashionable upholstery, is a new take on the traditional gold banding, creating tableware that is not only smart but dishwasher friendly. To create the colour contrast we had to silk screen print each colour and overpaint the banding.

This is incredibly exciting for a new company like Xavier and shows how ambitious we are with our designs and vision for the future of beautiful, British bone china.
